What do you know?
The knowledge quiz is divided into age groups and contains age-appropriate questions. Questions are drawn from the ABA & APA Standards of Perfection and the commercial production industry, and are designed by Modesto Junior College's Poultry Science department every year. It is always a good experience to participate. Even if you don't know the answers, you can challenge yourself to learn what you didn't know, so you will be even better next year! First, second, third, & fourth place ribbons are given in 4 age-appropriate categories! Categories are divided into 5-8yrs, 9-11yrs, 12-13yrs, and 14-18yrs.
If you have not registered to participate in showmanship or exhibition, you will need to register when you arrive to receive your Exhibitor's # for participating in the poster, photo, knowledge quiz, poultry judging, or obstacle course events. Each child will need their own Exhibitor's #.
Lowell Sherman Award Points:
Maximum participation is 10 points.
The following points count for each place won in the competition in each AGE group.
